At Binme
The very best way to see the valleys of Cappadocia is to ride through them on horseback. Horses don’t tear up the tracks, scare away the wildlife or leave nasty fumes behind – at least not to the extent that some forms of transport do!

It is said that the name ‘Cappadocia’ is derived from the Persian ‘Katpatuka – the land of the beautiful horses’ and that the locals paid their taxes to the Persians in horses. We can arrange horseback riding trips with a local horse centre where the staff know about both horses and the terrain.
The valleys covered for our daily rides depend on the weather conditions and your riding experience. Most of our rides are in and around Rose / Red Valley, Sword Valley, Love Valley and White / Honey Valley – as these are the most beautiful trails to ride and we can reach many remote locations…away from the crowds - with spectacular vistas and amazing views throughout the entire ride. We offer sunrise or sunset rides minimum for 2 hours We also offer hourly rides Please let us know what works best for your schedule on the email form and we can reply with availability.
Tour itinerary
1 hour ride: Swords Valley, Girls Monastery. On the road which leads up to Göreme Open Air Museum are tracks that will lead to Swords valley (Kılıclar vadisi). This is one of the smallest valleys in Cappadocia but there is a 300 m tunnel, many interesting fairy chimneys and ruins, and part of the valley is like very narrow ravine. It is also possible to explore the abandoned caves which used to be homes a long time ago. If you would like to ride more than one hour, then we will add more amazing places on the itinerary which are on the same diretion.
Sunrise or Sunset ride ( 2 hours ): Gullu Dere (Rose Valley), Red and Rose valleys wind out from the backside of Çavusin and end up either at the sunset point near Ortahısar or at Kaya Camping above Göreme Open Air. There are many smaller valleys: Güllüdere, Kızılcukur, Meskendir and Zindanonu. Rose and Red valleys get their names from the reddish rose-colored rock that varies in hue and intensity depending on time of day, season and weather conditions. It is a must visit in Cappadocia as the orchards, vineyards, rock churches and fairy chimneys all blend together to create an unforgettable landscape.
